The Owl Gallery is a large space in Slinger High School I designed to display student work. It previously was a plain white hallway. I secured funding and built it in the summer of 2012. Two years later I added on to it with an additional space we call “The Loft”. The Loft was an abandoned stairway that happened to be connected to the Gallery . The loft was designed in a ‘Steampunk’ style, which features retro-futuristic designs. I wanted to foster art creation that was both innovative and collaborative incorporating the educational ideals of STEAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, ART and Math
